Louisville Suburb Match Quiz

Louisville is made up of dozens of distinct communities, from walkable urban neighborhoods to quiet acreage out in Oldham County — and the right fit depends entirely on your own priorities, not anyone else's. Answer five quick questions about your commute, setting, budget, and priorities, and see how every community in our coverage area stacks up for you.

How this quiz works

This quiz only asks about the things that actually change your day-to-day life in a home: how far you're willing to commute, whether you want a walkable or more rural setting, your price range, how much yard you want, and what amenities matter most to you (walkability, dining, parks, school ratings, or newer construction). It never asks anything about who lives in a given area, and every single community we cover is always shown in your results — just ranked by how well it matches what you told us. That's intentional: under the Fair Housing Act, every buyer has an equal right to consider every community, and we built this tool to reflect that.

Ready to see homes in person?

This quiz is a starting point for your own research — the real test is walking through a home and driving the neighborhood at the time of day you'd actually be commuting. Winner Realty knows these communities block by block. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll build you a tour across whichever communities interest you, no matter how they scored here.

Frequently asked questions

Does a low match score mean I shouldn't consider that community?

Not at all. A lower score just means fewer of your stated preferences lined up with that area's general profile — it's not a recommendation against it, and every community is always shown as a full option regardless of its score. Many buyers end up loving a community that scored lower than their "top match" once they actually visit.

Why doesn't this quiz ask about schools by name or ask about families?

Fair housing law prohibits steering buyers based on the demographics of who lives in or attends a school in a given area. This tool sticks to objective, publicly available criteria — published school ratings as one amenity among several, plus commute, setting, price, and yard size — and never asks about or scores on family composition, age, or any other protected characteristic.

What areas does this cover?

Twelve communities across Jefferson, Oldham, and Bullitt counties, from urban Downtown/NuLu to rural Oldham County towns like La Grange. If you're considering an area outside this list, reach out and we'll walk you through it directly.
