eXp Is Now AGNT. What It Means for Louisville eXp Agents

eXp's parent company changed its name this year. eXp World Holdings is now AGNT, Inc., and it also owns NextHome, a franchise brand it brought in and is now combining with eXp behind the scenes. As of June 30, 2026, AGNT reported 87,338 agents and brokers on its platform and $1.4 billion in revenue for the quarter.

If you're an eXp agent in Louisville, the name on your business card hasn't changed. But a few things underneath it have, and they're worth knowing.

What's actually changing

  • New parent, new brand next door. AGNT says it's combining back office, legal, and technology across eXp and NextHome. Shared back office usually means shared costs and changing processes.
  • A push for productivity. eXp's CEO told investors the company is shedding its least productive agents, and that most of the non-productive agents who left in the second quarter left real estate altogether. Higher producers are clearly the focus.
  • A tilt toward teams. eXp said 41% of its new agents in the second quarter joined teams. If you're solo, that tells you where the company sees growth.

Let's talk about revenue share

Revenue share is eXp's big recruiting pitch. When an agent you sponsor closes deals, you get paid a slice out of eXp's cut of their commission, up to seven levels deep. It sounds great, and for a few people at the top it is.

But here's the number eXp publishes itself in its income disclosure: the median revenue share for a typical agent is $0. Median means the middle. Half of agents earn that or less. So if revenue share is a big part of why you joined or why you stay, look at your actual checks, not the slides.

How eXp's split works

eXp agents keep 80% of their commission until they've paid $16,000 to the company in a year, then 100% after that, plus transaction fees and monthly fees. For a strong producer, that cap can work out. For an agent doing a handful of deals, the fees add up fast relative to income.

Questions worth asking

  • What did I actually take home from revenue share in the last 12 months?
  • Is anything about my fees or my tech changing with the NextHome combination?
  • Where are my leads coming from, and what am I paying for them?

Where Winner Realty fits

We don't pay you to recruit a downline. We put deals in front of you.

  • Leads every morning. We own a data company, Property Partner, so our agents get residential and commercial leads in their inbox at 6:30.
  • Investor buyers. Our private investor marketplace, OffMarket.deals, has 70,000+ buyers, and your listings can go in front of them.
  • Commercial in-house. Two units and up is commercial here, backed by Winner Commercial.
  • Plans that fit how much you close: $595 a month and keep 100%, $100 a month on an 85/15 split, or $50 a month on a 60/40 split. Every plan is $295 per closed deal plus a one-time $100 setup.
  • A flat $500 for every agent you refer. Simple, no levels.
  • A real local office, contract-to-close help on every deal, and a 15-minute response rule when you text us.
